Time to get excited about real estate

Today was an exciting day for real estate. Interest rates came in below 5% today with the anticipation that it could approach 4% very soon. I did see one lender quoting a 15 year loan for less than 4.5%. If you have been thinking about refinancing your current mortgage or getting into the market and purchase a home, there is not a better time to do this than now. We have not seen rates like this for a while now, with the exceptions of a month or so ago for about 2 hours then the rates went back up. So if you were not keeping track of the rates hour by hour you missed it. If you are thinking about refinancing then I would suggest getting in touch with your lender right away as I can see the lenders getting very busy very fast. If you are looking at getting in the market and purchasing a home I would suggest that you get in with your lender and get prequalified and start looking for a home. In the Cheyenne area there is a good selection of homes available for sale so now is the time to get excited. Interest rates this low translates into more buying power for Buyers.
